Gardening with Melanie

Using the fallen wood from around the school Melanie helped
us to make a bug hotel.

We put one near the polytunnel

One by the compost

Here are some of the visitors we hope will visit the bug hotel.

The bugs will help with decomposition.

Autism Awareness Day

As a class we discussed how children with autism may feel.

Two of our class mates have autism and were able to help us understand
how it can effect them.

Science Experiment on Lung Capacity

Science experiment to measure our lung capacity. We had to blow through a tube into a bottle of water.

The pupils with a large lung capacity were able to fill the most or all of the bottle with air.

We measured the results and recorded them in our science copy.
It was interesting to see our estimation,( the person we thought would have the largest lung
capacity ) and the actual result differed.
