Measure- Capacity
We arranged different containers in order, starting with the largest to the smallest. |
We had to work to a timer so we had to work effectively and as a team. |
Gardening with Melanie |
Using the fallen wood from around the school Melanie helped us to make a bug hotel. |
We put one near the polytunnel |
One by the compost |
Here are some of the visitors we hope will visit the bug hotel. |
The bugs will help with decomposition. |
As a class we discussed how children with autism may feel. |
Two of our class mates have autism and were able to help us understand how it can effect them. |
Listening to our friend playing the piano |
Science experiment to measure our lung capacity. We had to blow through a tube into a bottle of water. |
The pupils with a large lung capacity were able to fill the most or all of the bottle with air. |
We measured the results and recorded them in our science copy. It was interesting to see our estimation,( the person we thought would have the largest lung capacity ) and the actual result differed. |
